The GetDCOrgEx function obtains the final translation origin for a specified device context (DC). The final translation origin specifies an offset that Windows uses to translate device coordinates into client coordinates (for coordinates in an application’s window).
BOOL GetDCOrgEx(
HDC hdc, |
// device-context handle |
LPPOINT lpPoint |
// address of structure that receives translation origin |
); |
If the function succeeds, the return value is nonzero.
If the function fails, the return value is zero. To get extended error information, call GetLastError.
The final translation origin is relative to the physical origin of the screen.
