Mike Murrays nice CNC mill:

4Axis break out board with 4 SLAms in a neat little box. How neat is that!?

Monster Surf board factory: Take a look at this /monster/ foam cutter that alta noob (who happens to be 14) and his dad will be using to make 18ft SUPS (like over-sized surf boards). It moves at 200ipm (inches per minute) driven by 4 SLAm drivers. It's a three axis machine, but the gantry is moved by a pair of motors, one on each side with gearboxes and a linear rack and pinion vs the standard lead screw and nut found on smaller machines. Total cost for the drive electronics (less the power supply and heatsink) was $170, 4 SLAm's, the 4Axis board and some misc components.+ (not counting the cost of the two cheap Chinese driver boards he burned up before going with the SLAm's.) It's cutting surf boards now!

Romans CNC Mill: A really nice little CNC mill made by Roman using the SLAm steppers. Features vac attachment, non-contact hall effect limit switches, auto z-axis sensor for tool height, and the SuperPID to control spindle speed, allowing low RPM cutting (doesn't melt plastic or burn wood) with a cheap router.
