Hello, I am looking to connect a MAX522 DAC through the PIC18F452's SPI interface and a PCF8575 I/O expander through the I2C interface. However both the SPI and I2C modules connect to the same pins of PORTC. Anybody knw away around this? Appreciate it if you cld help...
Regards,
Dimithri
I have an application that calls for a 19bit synchronous serial interface: clock supplied externally @ 1.2MHz. I am trying to use the Advanced USART in the 18F1320. I am trying to write out three consecutive 8 bit words, I use a timer to timeout during the middle of the third word to exit (since I only have 19 clocks not 24). The interface works for a short while but then gets stuck waiting to transmit the second byte. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.+
